Terms of Service
Effective date: · These terms govern booking and use of CubeFlux Studio Rental services.
Acceptable Use
Studios must be used for lawful production activities and in accordance with building rules and local regulations. You agree to protect the property, equipment, and the safety of staff and neighbors.
- No hazardous, explosive, or flammable materials unless explicitly authorized in writing and handled by qualified personnel.
- No illegal activity, harassment, or content that violates third-party rights (copyrights, trademarks, privacy, publicity).
- Follow noise limitations, loading rules, elevator capacity limits, and security procedures for the building.
- Do not tamper with fire systems, alarms, sprinklers, or emergency exits. Keep pathways clear.
- Animals are permitted only by prior approval (service animals allowed as required by law).
Bookings
A booking is confirmed when we acknowledge it and applicable deposits or pre-authorizations are completed. Your booking covers the scheduled time including setup and teardown unless otherwise stated.
- Minimum booking hours vary by studio and may depend on peak periods.
- Setup and teardown are billable unless explicitly included in your quote.
- Overtime is billed in 30-minute increments and may require approval depending on building access hours.
- You are responsible for your crew and guests, including compliance with safety requirements.
- Any changes to the booking (time, add-ons, staffing) should be requested as early as possible; changes are subject to availability.
Payments
Rates are displayed in USD for consistency; local taxes may apply depending on your location and the studio address. We may require a deposit to confirm your booking and a valid payment method for incidentals.
- Invoices are due as indicated on the invoice; late payments may result in booking suspension or cancellation.
- Any additional services (equipment damage, overtime, additional staff) may be billed after the session based on documented usage.
- Chargebacks or payment disputes must be raised promptly and include supporting information.
- If you are booking on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind that organization.
Cancellations
Standard policy: free up to 72 hours before start; 50% within 72–24 hours; 100% within 24 hours. If your quote specifies a different policy (e.g., for special builds or staffing), that policy controls for that booking.
Liability
CubeFlux is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. You are responsible for obtaining necessary permits, permissions, and insurance for your production, crew, and equipment.
- We are not liable for loss of data, lost profits, or production delays arising from circumstances beyond reasonable control.
- You agree to indemnify and hold CubeFlux harmless from claims arising out of your use of the studio, including those by third parties.
- Our total liability for claims related to a booking is limited to amounts actually paid for that booking, to the extent permitted by law.
- Report any property damage or injury immediately; cooperate with incident documentation.
Privacy & Data
We may process contact and booking information to provide services, communicate updates, and maintain security. You agree that crew lists or access details you provide are accurate and shared with permission.
- Security cameras may operate in common areas for safety; private areas are handled per local rules.
- Wi‑Fi usage must comply with applicable law; do not attempt unauthorized access to networks or devices.
- Marketing communications can be opted out where required; operational messages may still be sent.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms apply from the effective date shown above. If you continue to use our services after updates become effective, you accept the updated Terms.
